Meet Blixten – your slightly wise, slightly cheeky forest guide – and his herd of gentle companions. From cosy retreats in the Swedish countryside to heartfelt videos and stories from the stables, Blixten & Friends has its heart in Hölö Ridskola och Ridklubb – the place where Blixten spent his life as a riding school horse, and where generations of riders have discovered joy, friendship, and a love for horses. Now happily retired, Blixten is ready for new adventures with you.
Blixten & Friends is all about slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and finding joy in the simple things.
We’re here to bring people together – near and far. Whether you live just down the road or halfway across the world, you’re warmly invited to be part of our growing community. If you’d like to get involved, collaborate, or simply share a kind word – we’d love to hear from you.
As part of our journey, we’ll also explore the beautiful area we call home – showing you the incredible nature around us. We’re lucky to have both forest and sea on our doorstep, as well as cosy local spots full of charm.
